Casting Epoxy
Two-component transparent epoxy systems developed specifically for casting as A (epoxy) and B (hardener).
Thanks to its low viscosity and slow curing feature, it creates very low reaction heat, provides ease of application, does not leave air bubbles, allows thick casting and creates a smooth surface.
It is suitable for wood veneer, decorative items and trinket castings, jewelry and hobby items.
Things to Consider
The products have two components. The components are not used seperately.
The mixing ratio is 30%. 100 grams of Component A (resin) – 30 grams of Component B (hardener)
For best results, applications should be made at room temperature. At high temperatures, the product may harden earlier than expected, and at low temperatures, the product may harden later.
It is necessary to use a sensitive scale for weighing. Deviation in quantities may cause the result not to be as desired.
Care should be taken to ensure that the containers in which the mixtures will be made are not damp. Humidity can affect the hardening of the product and impair the transparency of the hardened product.
Since the product will harden late, there will be no air bubbles left in it, so no extra process is required to remove the bubbles.
