WHAT DOES IT DO?
Mum Kimya Rust Converter; is a pigment-free, dispersion-based formulation combined with high-performance organic polymers, designed to convert rust on metal surfaces into a protective primer layer.
Designed for applications where sandblasting or mechanical surface preparation is difficult, the product can be applied directly onto rusted surfaces without extensive pre-cleaning. It converts the surface into a primer-ready coating compatible with epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, and alkyd topcoats.
The formulation penetrates deep into the rust layer and reacts with iron oxides to form a durable, insoluble black organometallic complex. The treated surface becomes stabilized against further corrosion.
STOPS CORROSION
Converts iron oxides into a durable black organometallic complex, preventing recurring rust formation.
MINIMAL SURFACE PREPARATION
No sandblasting or aggressive mechanical cleaning required. Apply directly onto rusted surfaces.
COMPATIBLE WITH MULTIPLE TOPCOATS
Compatible with epoxy, polyurethane, acrylic, and synthetic topcoat systems.
